Some people collect magnets. Me? I collect moments of uncanny symbolism.
Specifically, bees. Yep, bees.
Not like I went out hunting for them. Nah. Let’s just say the bee chose me and honestly, I’m not even mad about it.
At first, it was low-key… bees buzzing around during some of the best moments of my life, showing up like they had a secret RSVP I didn’t know about.
Then the universe turned up the volume a surprise bookmark from my husband, a coffee mug from a client, a tiny trinket from a friend and even more…..
This is just a small piece of the bee collection.
Suddenly, bees weren’t just bugs; they were my thing.
My spirit animal, if we’re getting fancy.
They show up when I need a little grounding, clarity, or just a gentle nudge to be—yes, pun absolutely intended ;)
They’ve drifted through my dreams, landed smack on my yoga mat mid-downward dog, and followed me on a global tour buzzing by my ear in Bali, Rome, Mexico City, & Tokyo to name a few.
At first, I tried to brush it off thinking, bees? Spiritual? Nah, that’s just coincidence and pattern recognition.
The brain’s adorable little habit of making meaning out of chaos.
And sure, there’s truth there.
But then I had a little aha moment in that maybe the real magic isn’t in the symbols themselves.
Maybe it’s in the noticing.
Bees, in particular, remind me to keep going. They work with fierce devotion but also know when to pause on a petal. They symbolize community, sweetness, purpose, and I mean they just mind their own business in the world. (which we should all aspire to do…)
I’ve watched bees navigate storms, dodge threats, and still find their way back to the hive. That’s resilience in action.
It’s a reminder that life can be both hard and beautiful at the same time, and that the sweetness often comes from showing up steadily, purposefully even when it feels like no one’s watching.
This isn’t about superstition it’s about creating space for delight.
Letting symbols mean just enough to bring you back to yourself to your own rhythm and resonance.
In a world that’s loud and chaotic, these little signs are invitations to slow down, notice, reconnect to the present moment, your inner compass, and the deeper currents beneath everyday life.
and what I’ve realized is the more you welcome these signs, the more they find you.
Not because you’re chasing them, but because you’re open.
It’s like tuning your frequency to a quieter, more curious channel and suddenly, the world feels a bit more enchanted, a bit more alive.
So if something keeps showing up bees, numbers, colors, coins, or clouds shaped like whales maybe don’t brush it off.
Because sometimes, that little exchange is all we need to feel a bit more connected to the world, to ourselves, and to the ongoing story of who we are becoming.
I’m curious, what symbols or signs keep showing up in your life?
Send me a message or leave a comment. I love hearing about these small, magical moments.
